The story of the house
You will find Hotel Orion at Americká 9, in a quiet residential part of Royal Vinohrady.
The history of the house goes back to the 1920s. The original owners lived here, rented out flats and ran a small printing shop on the ground floor.
After the communist regime came to power, they lost the house. It was returned to them after the Velvet Revolution, but restoring it was by then beyond the original owners’ means.
In the end, the house was fully renovated after all. We firmly believe that the original owners would be proud of us. Their dream, in a different form, lives on within the walls of a small apartment hotel under Orion’s lucky star.

We run Hotel Orion as a small hotel with a family atmosphere. We care about attentiveness, willingness to help and the small things that make a stay more pleasant. Our wish is to create a place where you feel good — from the very first contact until your departure.
Our team
Behind the atmosphere of Hotel Orion stands our team — the hotel management, the people at the reception, at breakfast and those caring for the apartments. Each of us has our own role and a shared goal. We do our best to make our guests feel welcome, to have someone to turn to and to enjoy coming back to us.
It is the people who look after Hotel Orion every day who give our hotel its soul. And you, our guests, give us the reason why our work makes sense.
